NORMAN and BEATRICE
By Barbara Hammond

TeamAlzheimers was very proud to underwrite and present Norman and Beatrice, a loving story about a day in the life of a couple living with Alzheimer’s disease. This play is a true story written by their daughter, Barbara Hammond based on e-mails and letters written by Beatrice.

The play was presented at the Hopkins Center in July at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire.

Our very capable stars were Connor Lawless as Norman and Liza Santulli as Beatrice. Elizabeth Johnstone narrated the play.

TeamAlzheimers is very pleased to present a 30-minute audio version of the production. We hope Ms. Hammond's exquisite work brings both enjoyment and solace…

Spell Out Personal Care Wishes

Randi Bjornstad/The (Eugene) Register-Guard

What do you do when an elderly parent slides into a "memory loss illness" such as Alzheimer's disease, other dementia or terminal illness?

Things as simple as daily routines; family history; favorite (and hated) foods; and best-loved books and movies…
